My mom is obsessed with this show called "Boston Med"
Which is a reality show that takes place at Mass General. It’s pretty tastefully done considering the whole reality show thing. It actually makes me miss the shit out of Boston because it shows shots of the Esplande and the Charles over and over again.
ANYWAY, I was watching it with her the other night, and they brought this college kid into the ER who had drank a gallon of vodka and was completely passed out. The ER staff had to pump his stomach. Once he came to, he started cursing out the nurse because she wouldn’t let him leave. He said that he had a final in three hours and had to go study, so he needs to leave now, you fucking bitch.
Of course, when he said that, I yelled “COLLLEEGGGEEEE”, and then received the most terrifying death stare I have ever seen. I’m pretty sure my mom is never going to let me leave the house ever again.

- Me: I'm sure they do, for the same reason humans do. They have vets and medicine.
- Dad: I wonder if cows have longer lifespans.
- Me: I doubt it. We kill them.
- Dad: No, not those cows.
- Me: Like wild cows?
- Dad: No, not wild cows. They obviously wouldn't live longer.
- Me: Then like, dairy cows?
- Dad: Yeah. Except we probably kill them when they stop being able to produce milk, and grind them into dog food.
- Me: Or people food.
- Dad: Soylent Yellow. Not Soylent Green.
- Me: Yeah, because Soylent Green is people.
